Play and Chat @ PLUS

This project was initiated by parents who were keen to ensure that parents of pre school children are able to feel supported.

Play and Chat is hosted by PLUS, and is held at our premises on Broadleys Road in Springkerse Industrial Estate, on Wednesday mornings and Friday afternoons. Parents with children from birth – 5 can attend, pre booking and a formal referral is not required.

This group aims to support parents across the Forth Valley whose children have;

– additional support needs

– developmental delays

– disability

– medical conditions

– communication difficulties

Siblings are also welcome to attend.

Running on a weekly basis, on Wednesday 10:30-12:00 and Fridays 1pm – 2.30pm at PLUS in Stirling.

Falkirk Play and Chat 

Where: Bailliefields Community Hub Sunnyside Road, Falkirk FK2 0RN

When: Third Thursday of every month 9:30 AM – 11AM. 

Play and Chat is a safe space for families to share experiences, network with others and enjoy a hot drink! We welcome along families who have a diagnosed disability or awaiting a diagnosis and beginning to navigate their journey. A support group for parent/ carers or children at any point of their diagnosis journey.

Free to attend!

Parents can attend alone but children also welcome!

Family Support 

 

PLUS Family Support provides information sessions and networking opportunities, allowing families to connect. Family Support Coordinators assist families from the initial enquiry through to integration into a project, offering tailored support based on each family’s needs. We also facilitate information sessions and family event’s throughout the year.

Family Support also runs weekly Play and Chat groups for families with pre-school children who have a diagnosis or are awaiting one. Drop in on Wednesday and Friday’s, the groups offers a supportive, safe space for parents and carers to connect and share experiences. Siblings are also welcome!
